It's estimated that roughly 3 out of 4 women experience PMS symptoms every month with a wide range of variability among symptoms and severity. Many women report fatigue, mood swings, cravings, cramps, bloating, anxiety, and spotty breakouts as common vexations in the two weeks leading up to their period.
Fortunately there are herbs that can tame many of these symptoms, and Herb & Tonic has a twist on your favorite hazelnut spread so you can enjoy this remedy that we fittingly named "Tigertella," aka Tame the PMS Tiger! This chocolate hazelnut spread is methodically spiked with herbs to keep those obnoxious monthly symptoms at bay while also satisfying the most common craving: chocolate!
Notable Herbs:
Raw cacao powder is packed with magnesium, along with other essential minerals including calcium, potassium, iron, zinc and manganese as well as potent antioxidant flavonoids and a wide range of B vitamins.
Ginger is very effective for cramps, it also reduces bleeding when taken during one's period at a rate of 1/8 tsp 3/day.
Ashwaganda is a versatile adaptogen that reduces inflammation, improves sleep, and can modulate anxiety.
Dandelion is a natural diuretic but it has an added benefit of supplying the body with minerals such as potassium, that are typically depleted when using prescription diuretics. Dandelion root also promotes detoxification within the liver which can help promote estrogen metabolism during PMS.
Hazelnuts and Coconut contain beneficial fatty acids that support hormones and control satiety levels better than other foods.

OR 40 drops of liquid Stevia + 1/4 maple syrup (low carb option Birch Benders)
